THE GARRYS – SINGLE REVIEW

Release Date: Out Now

Despite being named after some distinctly grim rhyming slang (inadvertently, one would hope), Saskatoon all female trio the Garrys have a serene calmness about their music. New single ‘Makeout at the Drive-In’ is a gentle, shoegaze meets doped-up surf track that meanders through muted Dick Dale guitars and vocals that are too cool to care. Essentially, if David Lynch was asked to make a reboot movie of Happy Days with Shia Lebeouf as a troubled Fonzie then these three would be playing this song as Al welcomed you in to his hipster-retro diner (and just to be clear, that’s a very cool thing indeed).

Live Dates:

1st May – Black Cat Tavern, Saskatoon w/Weaves
17th May – The Great Escape, Brighton
18th May – The Moon, Cardiff
20th June – Sled Island
29th June – FrogFest – the Lilypad, Rocky Mountain House
