Hannah Walker and Jamie Elliott,
for they are East Vancouver duo Twin Bandit, have found that rare alchemy that
allows them to create a sweet sound without any seams when they perform
together. The simple, rootsy, country twang of ‘Everything Under The Sun’ is as
warming as that first glow of sun in the morning on a country scene. The
acoustic strum and smooth slide guitar notes interplay perfectly and there is
something wonderfully comforting about this tune as it bounces along with a
steady yet uneven beat. The voices of these two Canadian chanteuses are
fittingly soothing like velveteen or caramel and altogether this creates a wonderfully
welcoming tune that it’s hard not feel huge affection for.
