MOLLY WARBURTON – SINGLE REVIEW

Molly Warburton – Not Your Enemy
Molly Warburton - Not Your Enemy

Release Date: 11th September 2016

Lancashire lass (just rolls off the tongue doesn’t it?) Molly Warburton has been stirring things up with her own brand of acoustic pop and ‘Not Your Enemy’ is the latest salvo from Ms Warburton and her associated band of minstrels (the musician type, not the chocolatey treat). ‘Not Your Enemy’ is just under three minutes of blissful folk-pop with skittish drums and twinkling keys embellishing the sturdy acoustic strumming and Warburton’s soulful vocals. There’s a powerful and insistent energy to this that would sit nicely on BBC Radio 2 alongside the likes of KT Tunstall, James Morrison and Paolo Nutini whilst having the spirit of Sound Of The Sirens or Wildwood Kin. A fine tune with a fine spirit indeed.

Live Dates:

9th September – The Castle, Manchester
18th September – UCLan Fresher’s Party, Preston

26th September – Sound Control, Manchester
