TRUDY - SINGLE REVIEW

Trudy - Baby I'm Blue
Trudy - Baby I'm Blue

Release Date: Out Now

Hailing from the twin musical fleshpots of Liverpool and Leeds, Trudy are a trio of lads with a bluesy approach to the world of indie. 'Baby I'm Blue' has an almost jazzy vibe behind the heartbrokenly desperate vocals of Oliver Taylor who seems to wring just as much emotion from his rattling guitar. I'm struggling for comparisons but at a push I'd go for something between Grandaddy and the Zutons with James Morrison's vocals but Van Morrison's delivery. There is a satisfying authenticity to this from the lyrics to the production quality via the excellent musicianship so if you've got the blues or you want to know what they sound like then give Trudy a call.
