SEAKER - SINGLE REVIEW

Seaker - Animal
Seaker - Animal

Release Date: Out Now

Seaker is a new project from London based artiste Kiran Hungin, a talent that can't be tied down for long in this fickle musical landscape. This debut release under the moniker of Seaker, 'Animal', is as ambitious as it is beautiful in terms of the landscape it creates. A gently persistent piano riff sets the scene for the vocals to drift out of the night sky before processed beats start to scatter from every which way and synths swoon all around. This is music for emerging from the shadows and in to a much deserved spotlight, reinforced by the repeated refrain of "from hunter to animal", calling for us to shed the cowardice of the hunter and embrace the raw bravery of a wild animal. A slow burner, undoubtedly, but once it catches this tune burns brightly.
